Extruded Rubber Profile Process Belts
During the manufacture of extruded rubber profiles FIBERFLON PTFE coated belts are used to carry the extruded profile through a curing oven. A major user of these profiles is the automotive industry for seals around the car doors. Typically FIBERFLON 828.25 or 728.25 are used in this application.
The operating conditions are extreme. The equipment is generally operated at very high temperatures (over 260°C) and the belt is in contact with oil. As a result belts are routinely replaced. |
