Fluoropolymer coated and laminated composites, produced by FIBERFLON, are widely used for manufacturing of Non-Metallic Expansion Joints, Insulation Jacketing and Floating Roof Seals for oil storage tanks. Our PTFE (Teflon) fiberglass composites and laminates are engineered to survive corrosive environments and severe temperatures.

FIBERLAM expansion joint composites

High quality woven fiberglass fabrics coated with a specially formulated fluoropolymer coating designed to provide enhanced flex properties and excellent high temperature performance, and then laminated with PTFE (Teflon) multilayer cast films to provide superior gas barrier properties.

FIBERFLON recommends FIBERLAM 1001 & FIBERLAM 2001 for wet applications which features a multilayer cast film is laminated to the gas side and provides an extra layer of protection against corrosive chemicals.
